Working on your jump shot? Print my free jump height marker template to compare various techniques or jump cues.
Elevate your accuracy when practicing various diamond systems using my free printable decimal diamond strips. Bring my printable popups to a pool hall or affix the diamond strips to your home table, for just the cost of your time. A special thanks to my friend Steve, who took the time to video his process for converting them into stickers. While some companies offer clear stickers (Kamui Diamond Slicers, for one) they come at a cost, and many user reviews indicate they did not fit their table, but could not be returned. I offer 6 different sizes, and can be scaled at printing to custom match your table’s diamond distance.
This is a demonstration of the rare and legendary poster called "The Banks Are Always Open," by Ray Higley. The system uses proportional triangles to calculate the aim of various bank shots. I demonstrate a 1 rail bank shot using the system, but there is way more information on the poster than what I have demonstrated, especially in terms of expanding this calculation to multi rail shots.
I've been down a GoPro and I'm about to be down an ankle... so video production will be limited for a few months. - - But - - It's also time for my first product giveaway! I have some extra break and jump tips that I will pass along to some of my poolometry.com subscribers. I have 2 Horo White Storm and 4 Horo Gold Rush tips.
Goal - bank an entire 9-ball rack. Here are my rules:
Made for my students during the onset of Covid, before I ever even dreamt of starting Poolometry.
I can’t find the original video file, so it’s pretty low quality. But still an impressive 1-take clip. Can you bank 6 different bank shot patterns in a row?
A playful recap of me using my AIM WITH SPEED bank system while my 1 year old rampaged on top of the table.
For the most part, there wasn't actually enough time to line up the numbers, so really I just reverted to my knowledge of general shot patterns.
The shot that started it all!
I've been developing my own original pool and billiards aiming systems for at least 10 years, but only recently set out to publish my strategies. I want to revolutionize pool and billiards with one comprehensive and easy to apply banking system that is based on the mathematical marriage of physics and geometry.
This is not an instructional video, but it's a good snapshot of the job. About 6 hours here crammed into one minute.
I replaced 8 year old Tournament Blue Simonis 860HR cloth with 860HR Royal Blue. Most videos show a pneumatic air stapler, and although I have a portable air compressor, I purchased the Ryobi ONE+ 18V Cordless Compression Drive 3/8 in. Crown Stapler specifically for this job. It did not disappoint!
